Image processing is the most important part of any robot because a robot can take decisions based on image processing for its actions(such as locomotion,performing a task etc..).what is image processing?the answer lies in the word in fact the process of image for any suitable information is called image processing.
why?use matlab ,because in matlab there are toolboxes which make our task of image processing easier and other reason why matlab is because in matlab every picture can be easily transformed in form of matrices and thereby easier and faster processing.

1)imshow-shows image
2)imread- reads image and converts into matrices
3)size gives the size of image (row,column)
