software/serial communication using c

hey guys do you want to communicate to a embedded device using c,then i will tell you how?
Actually,it all began when i had to create a embedded application for direct transfer of data from c user interface to microcontroller.So i began to search on the "help" of c(a general tip-usually help in c  is the best guide),then i found a command called biosky.so use biosky to set the baud rate,port,parity and other control options.Then there is a sample code on serial comm. just use that if you dont want to probe further.But be careful about the port and baud rate settings.
if your baud rate settings is not proper than there will be error in data transfer....
